Becoming an Association
Criteria and Application
- Eligibility Criteria
- Associations must demonstrate a commitment to supporting sustainable tourism and have a network of members who can potentially contribute as partners and/or affiliates.
- Application Process
- Interested associations can apply through the Vacanator Hub Association portal, including information about the organization, mission, and how they can support Vacanator’s goals.
- Approval
- Applications will be reviewed by our association management team. Approved associations will gain access to the Association Hub, allowing them to collaborate and participate in development programs.
Responsibilities of Associations
Support and Collaboration
- Community Development
- Associations are responsible for facilitating training and workshops for their members to enhance skills and knowledge. This includes topics such as sustainable tourism practices and local cultural promotion.
- Collaboration with Vacanator
- Associations must work with Vacanator to identify new opportunities and develop initiatives that benefit local communities and enrich the tourist experience.
Compliance and Oversight
- Legal Compliance
- Associations must ensure that all activities and programs comply with local and national regulations related to tourism and community development.
- Monitoring and Feedback
- Actively monitor activities and provide feedback to Vacanator for continuous improvement. This includes timely reporting of issues or policy violations.

- Vacanator may update the Association Hub Policy as needed. Associations will be notified of significant changes via email or the Association Hub portal.
